Siena is just 30 minutes away by car, and San Gimignano, Florence and Arezzo are also perfect for day trips. Radda and Gaiole offer plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops, and a good restaurant is located less than ten minutes' walk from the house.
The property includes a covered terrace shaded by a pergola and a large balcony with a dining table – perfect for enjoying meals together outdoors. Additional seating areas in the garden offer a choice of sun or shade throughout the day.
Inside, the house combines traditional Tuscan elements such as terracotta floors and wooden beamed ceilings with a cosy and lovingly decorated interior. Bright rooms, thoughtful details and a warm atmosphere make Il Boschetto a welcoming retreat.

Had a wonderful stay at Il Boschetto in July, accommodation was everything we could have asked for - clean, in great condition and the kitchen was stocked with lots of essentials that were really helpful. We ended up eating in every night as we had a young child with us and driving to the local restaurants wasn’t so easy, but the outdoor BBQ came in so handy and we honestly didn’t mind cooking and eating lovely home cooked food. The pool was brilliant and they kept up with the cleaning - only downside was the chemicals did dye blonde hair and swimming costumes green. There was plenty of pool floaties left for us to use and we even made the most out of the washing machine. Couldn’t fault our stay at all Stayed within the villa for most of the week but did attend a local wine tour there’s a few nearby and the local co op was small so travelled further out to Chianti to a bigger one for a big shop. The local shop did have everyday items that came in very handy

In some cases, light-coloured hair can develop a green tint due to a reaction between traces of copper in the water and certain sun cream ingredients, rather than the chlorine itself.
