Celebrating a special birthday or anniversary is a perfect opportunity to gather family and friends together for a visit to Tuscany and Umbria. You will need to find the perfect accommodation that suits all members of the group from the youngest to the oldest. If all members of the group are around the same age, then a large villa with pool that sleeps everyone is the best arrangement, but if you have a mixture of ages, couples, singles and families, then a hamlet where each can have their own villa or apartment whilst still being at the same location as everyone else is usually the best way to go.

Option 1: Hamlet Montebuoni
This is the most popular of our hamlets for families and friends to gather together as a group. The Hamlet is typically Tuscan in its build and has beautiful grounds and views across the neighbouring vineyards. There are 17 properties ranging from one-bedroom apartments for 2 people to three-bedroom apartments sleeping up to 6 people. The grounds are extensive and include a small children’s play area, a tennis court and children’s and normal swimming pools. There are many activities in the surrounding areas such as horseriding, hot-air balloon trips and cookery schools.

Option 2: Il Cellese
The hamlet of Il Cellese is a small collection of 7 fully refurbished apartments sleeping from 2-7 people. There is a restaurant at the property which is located near to the town of Castellina in Chianti. The apartments have all been built with the typical Tuscan building materials of stone, terracotta tiled floors and ceilings and wooden beams to give a traditional look to the property, but the interiors have been designed with high quality modern furnishings and appliances. The entire property comprises of 3 buildings, a saltwater swimming pool on a raised level and fantastic views of the countryside. The restaurant is within the main building and is open for dinner each evening. There is also a communal area with comfortable sofas indoors and a communual area with tables and chairs outside overlooking the valley below.

Option 3: Casa Rocca di Pierle
Surrounded by the green hills of the Pierla valley lies the country house Rocca di Pierle, it is the ideal place to seek, and find, peace and tranquillity while enjoying a close contact with nature. Just a few metres away from a ruined Tuscan castle, this is a wonderful place for a family or group to relax together. There are 3 separate properties that make up the house, which allows for privacy whilst still remaining in close contact. The property also has a large dining room where breakfasts or dinners can be arranged. There is someone around during the day to assist you with recommendations for walks, visits and tours or anything else that you may require. Casa Rocca di Pierle can accommodation up to 14 people.

Option 4: Casa Vecchio Fienile
Casale Vecchio Fienile is composed of 5 villas that are rented together to offer accommodation for up to 20 people. It is located on the gentle slopes of the Chianti hills near the typical Tuscan hamlet of San Appiano, which lies between Siena and Florence. This tranquil location has superb views of the surrounding countryside and is just 4km from the main road to Siena and Florence. The largest of the villas has a dining area large enough to accommodate up to 20 people.

Option 5: Villa Bernardi
Villa Bernardi is a beautiful and spacious Tuscan farmhouse property situated on a hillside in the Panzano region of Tuscany, renowned for its premium Chianti Classico wines. Panzano itself is just 3km away with a selection of shops and restaurants and there is good road access for Florence, Siena and the Chianti Classico towns of Castellina, Greve, and Radda. The property dates back to the 11th Century and has been restored carefully to retain its original features and character. Laid out over 4 levels, this property is ideal for family groups with plenty of space to gather together to enjoy the special ambience of the Villa. This well furnished villa also includes a computer workstation and fully equipped gym. The villa can accommodate up to 10 people.

Option 6: Villa Ronconvisi
Villa Roncovisi is an elegant villa dating from the 18th Century that has been restored into a high quality holiday home. It is ideally positioned in the countryside just a short distance from Monsummano Terme and Montecatini Terme, two towns famous for their thermal baths. Also within easy reach are many of the historical towns of Tuscany such as Florence, Pisa and Lucca. The private villa has air-conditioning as well as large pretty grounds that also include woodlands and olive groves. The Villa is a short drive from many sporting amenities such as golf, horseriding and tennis. There are also 4 mountain bikes at the property for guests use. Villa Ronconvisi can accommodate up to 17 people.

Option 7: Le Fonti
Le Fonti is a wonderful villa constructed at the end of the 19th Century, the Villa is composed of a main house and a cottage. Le Fonti is surrounded by 15.000 sqm. of private and well maintained flowered gardens and parkland which also houses the large swimming pool and is therefore an ideal place to spend a wonderful holiday in the heart of Tuscany. Le Fonti is located 6 km. from Arezzo and its position secures proximity to Florence, Siena, Assisi and other artistically important cities. Le Fonti can sleep up to 16 people.
